The Souderton Area Girl's Lacrosse Association (SAGLA) is an independent, non-profit organization that offers both Community and Travel Lacrosse Programs for girls in 3rd through 8th grades.

SAGLA Gold "A" Level Competitive Lacrosse Information

The SAGLA Gold "A" Level Competitive Lacrosse Program is open to girls in gades 5 -8 who reside within the boundaries of the Souderton Area School District as well as girls in adjacent school districts which do not have a girl's lacrosse program of their own.

The Gold program is ideal for girls who want to take their game to the next level and are willing to make a commitment to working on their lacrosse skills in the off season. 

  • Tryouts are held in the Fall for the following Spring season. 
  • Winter workouts begin in January and carry the players right into the start of the Spring season with practices two nights a week starting in March. 
  • The Gold teams play up to eight games (four HOME/four AWAY) on weekends (either Saturday or Sundays). 
  • Travel to other PAGLA East fields is required for AWAY games.
  • The Gold teams participates in the PAGLA East playoffs.
  • The Gold team takes part in our SAGLA Play Day Tournament (mid-May)
  • The Gold team takes part at the PAGLA Play Day Tournament in Downingtown, PA (late-May or early-June)



  • Players should make every effort to attend all practices (see PAGLA expectations below).  
  • Players are expected to support and encourage their teammates.  
  • Players are to listen to their coaches.
  • There will be A LOT of running during games and there will be a lot of running incorporated in our lacrosse drills during practices.  If players are able to do some running prior to the start of our outdoor training, that would be beneficial.
  • Wear practice pinnie or uniform top to all practices & wear something underneath so players can ‘switch colors’ during practices.
  • Players are to wear NO jewelry at any practice or game.  Take off jewelry before coming to practice and games. Covering jewelry with tape is not allowed. 
  • Players are expected to behave with good sportsmanship both on and off the field.
  • Players are also encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to practice time to ensure that we are able to begin practice on time.
